The Talent of Love

Have you ever noticed that some people just naturally seem better able to love?

I’m not talking about sociopaths here, just the people who don’t have a knack for love.

Is it just the way some people are wired?

There has been some interesting science about what love does to the brain. When you love, you get a rush of endorphins and the whole rush can act like an opioid and get you a little hooked. A little love makes you want a lot of love. So maybe taking that first leap is the first leap to a lifetime of love.

But, whatever you do? Just love.

When I was growing up, I was taught to guard Love…the L word…almost as tightly as I guarded my virginity. But these days, I’m loosening up, at least about love. Love…the L word…today on Keep it Juicy!

Space in Love

It’s almost Valentine’s Day.  I read those Hallmark cards about my spouse being my other  half and I just think they get it wrong. You need to have space in relationships. It’s just a matter of figuring out how much space you need, and how much is too much.
